Nano CBDa Gummies - 100 mg - Strawberry Lemonade
These refreshing strawberry lemonade gummies are made with all natural fruit juices and water soluble hemp extract. They are fast acting, vegan, and contain the rare cannabinoid extract CBDa.
CBDa offers many similar benefits as CBD, but some studies suggest it may be more potent in certain cases as it has a molecular structure similar to NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) which are commonly used for pain and inflammation.
Each gummy contains 10 mg CBDa and there are 10 gummies per bag.
CBDa FAQ's
What makes CBDa different than CBD?
Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDa) is the chemical precursor to cannabidiol (CBD). This means that CBDa is the first form of cannabidiol that appears when growing cannabis. It isn’t until the plant is processed, heated, or dried that CBDa is converted into CBD. For this reason, many people refer to it as the “raw form of CBD.”
Are the effects of CBDa different than CBD?
CBDa is a relatively new cannabinoid on the market, so its' effect profile is still under study. However, many users report CBDa to be more effective for pain relief than regular CBD. This may be due to the unique way CBDa interacts with our endocannabinoid system, which is by COX-2 enzyme inhibition. COX-2 enzymes are associated with inflammation after an injury or infection. So by blocking or "inhibiting" these enzymes, CBDa can relieve inflammation and associated pain.
Does CBDa help prevent COVID-19 transmission?
You may have seen a recent article titled, "Compounds in hemp block COVID-19 from entering human cells". This new study was led by Richard van Breeman, a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at Linus Pauling institute. In the study, he specifically refers to the cannabinoids CBDa and CBGa. Van Breeman claims, "CBDa and CBGa bind to spike proteins so those proteins can’t bind to the ACE2 enzyme. That means cell entry inhibitors, like the acids from hemp, could be used to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection and also to shorten infections by preventing virus particles from infecting human cells". This highlights how ingesting CBDa and CBGa can create a much more challenging environment for COVID-19.
